Emergency Examination Deferment Application

Please fill out the form below to make an application for an emergency exam deferment (EED) due to extenuating circumstances. 

As per the ABPI Examination Regulations, an exam cannot be cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

If you experience extenuating circumstances (as listed in the EED policy) leaving you unable to attend your exam, and the scheduled start time is within 24 hours you should make an application for an emergency deferment.

You must make your application for an EED within 24 hours of the scheduled start time even if you do not have access to supporting information at the time, as otherwise your application will not be considered.

If you are unable to upload your evidence of extenuating circumstances at the time of applying for an EED, you should still make this application now and submit supporting information at a later date - up to a maximum of within 8 weeks from the date of the extenuating circumstances. Applications will not be processed in full without supporting information.
